I noticed that the latest 2 ideas deal with this.
If you surrender, you can't come back in If you're away for more than 3 or 4 turns you can't come back in The guy that posted them is confused, but how can I blame him? There are no written rules of how this things work. - why flag up does't mean surrender? - when is a player considered away? what's the effect on refills? how is this related to lags etc. These thigs were partially discussed here and there let's collect the answers on this thread. |

What I usually see is: Flag = "I'll whine if you attack me, but I'm still going to attack you" Away = Lagged out or quit Flag + away = Quit |

at 4:08 AM, Sunday March 25, 2007 EDT The flag means you surrender, but only to the leader. And if the leader plays like crap you can just take down your flag and off with his head.
Flag: "Don't waste time killing off all my land, you shall instantly win if you knock out everyone else." or "I'm going to be the next to die anyway, game over." |

at 4:20 AM, Sunday March 25, 2007 EDT there are a lot meanings you could interprete into flags or away... it always depend to the situation! Often I like JKD´s interpretations.
BTW: away you may check - ask what is about the away players in the chat. if he don´t answer, the olayer is really away or a dude... |

no. I didn´t changed my mind. I referred that there is only a technical advise for the flag. Nothing more. Everything you may interprete depends on the situation, but nothing is fixed! |

Yet another idea that wants to change the meaning of flagged: Once you surrender, you can't unsurrender http://aplayr.com/kdice/kdice/ideas/once%20you%20surrender%2C%20you%20can%27t%20unsurrender/ |
