HUNTURK on Monday December 5, 2011 recognizes the flow of the game. Fun to play with except when he gets mad :D keep it up Louis :D
sotos on Monday December 5, 2011 2011-12-01 Louis Cypher is STILL a chat jerk and blowhard (see my old review from 2010 below). Do NOT attempt to challenge his superiority and his telling everyone how to play--he will NOT stand for that (thin-skinned and rude baby that he is). Notice that toward the end of our chat, he thinks that I need to watch MY mouth rather than notice that he is a blowhard giving advice (and thus putdowns) where they are NOT wanted. Louis Cypher is a typical trophy-guy-chat-jerk telling everyone how to play as a way to insult us. Teal in our game was a Level 60+ and just played the game without insulting anyone. Louis Cypher should grow up and learn manners. All chat below is verbatim as always. ++++++++++ Louis Cypher: why would you build 2 islands and not try to connect 3v3? ########## [Note: This is Louis insulting someone under the guise of asking a question. Louis KNOWS he is insulting someone--which makes it worse.] ---------- 3.14159: don't move that 3-stack, brown--it will win the game for you :) ---------- 3.14159: louis, how much are Kdice lessons? ---------- JUG HEAD: lol ---------- 3.14159: was that the free "teaser" lesson and then you jack up the price? ---------- JUG HEAD: brillinat ---------- JUG HEAD: south look good brown ---------- JUG HEAD: looks ---------- Louis Cypher: with a teal 6stack.... ---------- Louis Cypher: while the north is empty... ---------- theirishman: that a flag? ---------- 3.14159: it's okay. quite a few of the trophy guys are used to giving out advice--they are so good, you see ---------- JUG HEAD: feels too earl and pussy like ---------- theirishman: understandable ---------- JUG HEAD: gg ---------- Louis Cypher: good spirit Jug Head ---------- 3.14159: better to die on one's feet than to live on one's knees ---------- Louis Cypher: hm... ---------- Louis Cypher: there is not many exits now Darek... ---------- JUG HEAD: more advice ---------- JUG HEAD: cant help himself ---------- JUG HEAD: advice tourettes ---------- 3.14159: some of them are like that ---------- Louis Cypher: dude - no strategy will win you 47% luck average. and that's what I did this month so far [Note: SEE?! Now Louis Cypher MUST let us know that only luck is preventing him from crushing us, that he is better than we are, that we should bow down to him, that we should NOT take him to task for being a rude blowhard.] ---------- 3.14159: i think part of it is "slumming" on the 0 tables ---------- Captain Ramius: will you take a flag purple? ---------- 3.14159: they are "better" than the 0 tables and have to remind us of that fact ---------- JUG HEAD: even us rich have to give to the poor sometimes ---------- Darek Szewczyk: ok ---------- JUG HEAD: beat the expert ---------- JUG HEAD: wowo ---------- 3.14159: "see guys--i know i am a level 67 playing on a 0 table--i know i have 8 trophies--i am better than you--remember that" ---------- JUG HEAD: bye all ---------- Louis Cypher: you are nicely trolling. ########## [Note: Chat jerks HATE being challenged for their rude behavior. Name calling follows.] ---------- JUG HEAD has left ---------- 3.14159: thanks louis ---------- 3.14159: friends forever? ---------- Darek Szewczyk: conect ---------- Louis Cypher: I hope you stay happy and watch your mouth in real life - unless you are 7 feet tall. ########## [Note: "[W]atch you mouth" is throw in a little threat. Louis Cypher is saying, "If I catch you I will beat you up." Another typical chat jerk behavior by Louis Cypher.] ---------- theirishman: dont have to be 7 feet tall to whoop some ass! ---------- 3.14159: "watch my mouth"!!!! see? ANYONE who tries to challenge them deserves death ---------- Darek Szewczyk: conect sry ---------- Darek Szewczyk: red ---------- Louis Cypher has left ---------- Captain Ramius: its ok, i saw ---------- 3.14159: these chat jerks are SO full of themselves ---------- Louis Cypher has left ++++++++++ ++++++++++ ++++++++++ 2010-10-05 Dear Louis, Thank you and congratulations. Your recent reviews of me and others are pleasingly civilized and halfway subtle (don't worry, we didn't miss the insults--they aren't THAT subtle). If only your chat were subtle then you could dispense with terms you use there--with no preamble and no foundation--like "moron," "idiot," and "nice fucking team." I feel sure you are struggling to quiet your inner demons, though, so good luck. Your Humble Servant, oakcliff ++++++++++ 2010-10-05 Hair trigger. Rude. Supercilious. Never having considered that I might not have noticed what he thought it paramount that everyone should notice--a player was away (so don't kill anyone!)--Louis heaps scorn on me and tosses in an accusation of PGA while he is at it. The Algonquin Hotel has called and asked Louis to revive the Round Table after reading Louis's sparkling repartee in the following chat from our game: ---------- Louis Cypher: great way to give the game to blue mr. yellow moron.---------- Louis Cypher: but then blue is playing like an idiot himself. or like a nice fucking team---------- oakcliff: sorry, louis, i didn't know we were supposed to let you win---------- oakcliff: do you need some spare change, too?---------- Louis Cypher: not at all - but it was no need to kill me - especially before a non-competing player lags dead.---------- Louis Cypher: I like your sportsmanlike character though.---------- oakcliff: "no need to kill me"--you have played kdice before?---------- Louis Cypher: a little bit, maybe---------- Louis Cypher: there is a profile to check that... just a hint to a younger player---------- oakcliff: i am honorable and polite, but i don't like aggressive whiners---------- oakcliff: the game is the game, after all---------- Louis Cypher: you are stupid and a bad player. running your big stack into blue would have given you a shot at 1st, me possibly keeping red busy with a few small stacks next to me---------- oakcliff: thanks oh sage of kdice---------- Louis Cypher: you killing me letting blue grow and weakening that front while taking all business of red makes you a dead player---------- oakcliff: do you have strategies for the rest of the table, too?---------- oakcliff: face it, louis--you are better than all of us...---------- oakcliff: live with it---------- oakcliff: you are better than all of us but you STILL have to whine about it---------- oakcliff: it isn't enough to be better than all of us? we have to know it?---------- Louis Cypher: oak - I am probably way more intelligent than you, to that point I can't object. I wouldn't consider that standalone measure for quality of a being though---------- oakcliff: standalone measure for quality of a being though? ouch---------- Louis Cypher: I just don't like players that kill others befor an away player is dead. It is bad character and lack of style.---------- oakcliff: way more intelligent and way more of an ass?---------- oakcliff: rudeness in one so intelligent is not pretty, louis---------- oakcliff: it makes others appreciate your gifts less---------- Louis Cypher: 3rd... would have been hard to score worse with your starting position.---------- oakcliff: thanks louis--how much do i owe you for the lesson?---------- oakcliff: i think i can still come in 4th if i try hard---------- Louis Cypher: since I don't consider you completely hopeless it's free...----------
3.14159 on Thursday December 1, 2011 Good player, but gets easily angry for nothing, lol
Dragofonz on Tuesday November 29, 2011 I think I first saw Angel Heart when I was eleven years old, and at the time I didn't notice quite how long it was. There's something rather appealingly juvenile about the concept and presentation, and something much deeper which stuck with me. It wasn't just the slightly obvious realisation toward the end, it was a more savage and visceral quality I could never quite identify. I've often wondered how such a profundity is possibly, when the logic is elementary, the epistemology is insane and the pace is wheezy at best; the performances from the actors alternate, I now realise, between parody and obsessive intensity, but not in time with the metre of the plot; the script is malformed, and probably the product of committee thinking. The package is not good. Yet that intangible something was always there, wearing at me, boiling in the back room of my mind like a sacrificial cauldron, even after the sad chickenblood splatters of the principle scene had faded and all but two or three of the character's name had atrophied from lack of use. It came back to me, eventually. The elevator interstitials under the closing credits. Overly long, maybe; passed over by the majority of viewers, certainly; a gem, definitely. That was balls-to-the-wall film making, the likes of which we so rarely see today. It was as if the whole, lumbering mess was designed to culminate in those terminal moments -- much like Harry Angel's epiphany its- (or rather her)self. The whole thing stuck with me because I realised then, at that young age, that I had learned something incredible: films are more than a series of moments. I have no idea which colour Louis Cypher played or what his conduct was like during the game, but I give him four stars out of five: more than he deserves integrally, but with a bonus for the profound lesson he has delivered holistically.
yhp on Monday November 21, 2011 He got angry with me for successfully attacking him in the couple of games and started pge me after that. What a whino.
