How are the places distributed when all people flag.
First of all it´s the number of territories that´s for sure. But what happens when two people have the same number of territories? I thought it would be the number of dice but i had a game where i was place behind an other player although i had one more dice in reserve. |

its about dice, but if he recieved his dice at the end of his turn, and he flags... well you are not having more dice then he, so you are screwed |

We both hat one territorie, I had two spare-dice, the other player just one. So it could be that he ended his turn, we both had two spare dice, fortune was on his side. JKD: could be, I don´t remember our positions. I don´t want to complain or whine it´s just that I like to understand. |

at 10:38 AM, Saturday January 20, 2007 EST NO WAY!!! I have won multiple games where I dominated and still scored less than the second place player. Something is rigged.

at 12:36 AM, Sunday January 21, 2007 EST AK777, it's entirely possible that the 2nd place finisher gets more points, if their ranking was much lower than yours. See the other thread about the way the scoring works. If you are the weakest player on the table, you'll get the mots points if you do well. If you're the strongest, you'll get the fewest points. So, go play against stronger players if you want more points when you win.

at 4:28 PM, Sunday January 21, 2007 EST So tell me how this is fair:
Just finished a game. I was ahead most of the time. One player left early because they had no chance of winning. They end up with one territory with 8 dice at the end of the game. So it's me with about 10 territories vs. another player with about 10 territories. The only other player was the one who left early with the one territory. I end up losing, getting second place. The player with one territory gets third. The winner scored 40 points, I score 30 points and the one player with one territory scores 31 points. The winner ends with 1596 points, I end with 1532 points and the third place finish ends with 1364. No one can tell me that is fair scoring. I end up with more territories, defeating more players than the third place player and get less points than third place? That makes NO sense. |
