I would like to bump this threat as I think the progress is not too good.

I have the feeling that the "new accounts can't chat" aspect has not been handled. Still there are accounts that cannot chat. In the happy event of having new players (or even old players with new accounts), the lack of chat is a certain way of having them leave quickly. This is a very urgent aspect for that reason.


I still think that we do need a few more mods. The pure existence of mods and thus the chance of penalties is likely to improve funneling and alike. IMHO it has been executed massively this month.

I still am certain that it is impossible to name a mod agreed upon by all. Even the good previous mods have not been without criticism. For that reason I still think nominating several new mods is good as I explained before.

I am still convinced that any longterm regular player that shows signs of reflection and intelligence at times is suitable.

I do not change the previous list I posted: gauntlet, joey, generalissimus, ifigenius, ondrasz, GidsterAmsterdam, Mark Twain, Charmed Boy, dasfury and many others including myself (I think).

Players that have seen numerous bans and penalties are not the best choice imho, but even that could be debated - they'd know what to look for ;-)

Any progress here would be greatly welcome.

Time to fix the tourny lag issue and lag in general.
