There's a player named "Masshole" whose icon has the words "he loves cock". And he's swearing in the chat window.

at 12:11 PM, Saturday April 7, 2007 EDT Let's say you went to that Wayans brother's movie where they dress up like white girls. After 2 or 3 minutes you think, hmm, in my opinion this movie's humour seems to appeal to 13 year-old boys, or whoever, but it's definitely not my kind of movie. I find it dumb and/or offensive.
Given that the movie just started would you: A) Go get your money back or go see/rent one of the thousands and thousands of movies available. or B)Sit through the movie, arguing with the audience every time they laugh, then go home and start a letter writing campaign to try and force the Wayans to make movies that you would like. |

Your post is flawed. That is not the situation at hand. Imagine if you go to see a movie, and they keep showing you the White Chicks trailer randomly at the beginning, during and at the end of your movie. |

Just because it isn't safe for kids or work doesn't mean that people don't have a legitimate concern about the content. I will still play despite not liking the things that a small percentage of players do and say, but that doesn't mean I have to blindly accept rude and uncivil behavior. The game is most enjoyable to the largest number of people when it is friendly and inoffensive. The more people that enjoy the game and play regularly, the more money Ryan can make off the game from ads and donations. When that happens, he can devote more time and energy to making the game better and keeping it around for a long time, which I think all of us can agree is something we want, regardless of whether we enjoy uncivil bahavior or not. |

at 2:14 PM, Saturday April 7, 2007 EDT Sea Captain, your logic is fundamentally flawed, why? because kdice is not a "top-down" media like a movie.
Its currently like going to a bambi movie (yes, the kdice game itself is perfectly familiy safe), but other visitors of the movie keep yelling around profanity, have t-shrits with ripped open asses, etc. and then you complain, why? |

at 12:24 AM, Sunday April 8, 2007 EDT Annie, you can click on the avatar to switch it to the standard smiley face. You're getting a negative reaction from those with offensive avatars because that switch feature exists. You're asking someone to censor themselves when the ability to control is yours -- were it me, I'd probably tell you to click the pic. If you kept saying things like "remove your picture", I'd think you were unnecessarily overzealous. There's also /mute, which will remove that player from the chat log. You are posting in such a way as to make yourself sound powerless when you are clearly not.
