I know people who are away stop getting dice after a few rounds, but I think they should be given a one-dice penalty in their throws on defence as well, or something. I just noticed a trend where people join then are away the whole game, and end up getting 3rd because no one wants to attack their one 8stack, and it ticks me off. Especially if this person has flagged then left because it clear that they have accepted defeat.

anyways, a good tip for someone who wants to get better is to simply go to the highest table and watch the top players. Especially top 25 ones, cuz generally their tactics are solid, and nothing stops ya from spectating or even asking a question. yes, this tends to not be a problem at the higher table, mostly cuz I suspect players are a lot more protective of their 2000 ratings and want to sit through a whole game without leaving, opposed to someone who is 1504 and could care less... ohhh a butterfly! *runs off* :) |

at 3:15 AM, Thursday April 5, 2007 EDT One of the reason why nobody bothers to attack those 8 dice stacks of away and flagged players is that they get totally impossible rolls, you need to hit it about at least 5 times in a round in order to take it, which is bullshit. So I pretty agree if they actually get some penalty like the one mention in this thread or they do not roll a number beyond like say, 30 or something.

Ohhh you suspect the hidden code, dice = random(6); if player.territories == 1 then dice = 3 + random(3); ? HAHAHAHA! |
