Hmm, I can't see the 1600 tables anymore. Where are they? And why has the system been changed again?
Can't we agree on one system instead of changing the tables each week? Thank you. ^^ |

at 12:26 PM, Wednesday March 28, 2007 EDT sorry valo... I like you. But you didn´t get the point!
the marks/borders of actually 1500/1700/1800 have got the function to create 4 different skill-levels. They are depending to be the "Top 250", the "Top1000", the "Middle-Start-position" (or it´s also possible to change the 1500???) and at least the "less-skilled"-players on the unlimmited tables. That´s the point! Not to make it easier for someone to come quickly to the ELO-Top25... Now I´m waiting for fuzzycats answer, who still wom´t agree with this point of view. But we discussed earlier, that the skill superior to the luck-factor after a larger number of games. If you combine this answer with MadWillis arguement, you will got it perhaps! But if not, well, nothing. I´m glad that ryan implemented it like it is! |

I have been and I know. That's why I proposed 200 steps. "And those people also know that its more annoying to wait half an hour for a table to fill up than to lose your oh so valuable Elo to someone happen to just be ranked 150-250 elo below you." The 1000/250 players solution is the best way to ensure fast enough game starts and a challenging skill competition. Weren't you the one who always complained, that he doesn't want to play with unskilled players? "Yeah, let's use it on the sandbox!" (how did u hear that willy?) |
