Encouraged by the success of the <a href="http://aplayr.com/kdice/kdice/ideas/fix%20for%20the%20zombie%20player%20bug/">Fix for the ZOMBIE player bug</a> idea, currently at #11 all time, with 24 votes.
I posted another idea, previously requested on the forum by a few others: <a href="http://aplayr.com/kdice/kdice/ideas/add%20link%20to%20the%20kdice%20wiki%20from%20main%20page/">Add link to the Kdice WIKI from main page</a>. Please consider voting for it. Many new player, and many more, will benefit from easy access to the info on the wiki. Thanks. |

at 12:23 PM, Wednesday February 28, 2007 EST About the "<b>unofficial</b> player wiki", well can there be an "official" one? Since it would quite contradict the player stuff, wouldn't it?
And its just as official or unofficial as wikipedia content is. |

at 12:34 PM, Wednesday February 28, 2007 EST I really like the idea of a seperate wiki with information about kdice. It has a lot of stuff that I don't have time to write about. I can focus more on development.
However adding a link on the main page is an endorsement and I need some word like unofficial to make it clear that it is a seperate site. The wikipedia site says wikipedia which is a well known brand name so it is clear that it is seperate. People know that when they go to the wikipedia page they are getting an encyclopedic entry about kdice. A wiki labeled as official would mean quite a bit more commitment from me. |

at 12:37 PM, Wednesday February 28, 2007 EST well beeing an wikipedia fan especially the kdice article in wikipedia is unencyclopic. Thats was one reason why the kdice wikispace was born, to be able to remove unencylcopedic stuff from wikipedia. Altough I wont do it, since people would say 'oh fuzzycat just deltes stuff from wikipedia to favor "his" wiki'.
Especially kdice wikipedia article, and kdice wikispace. It are the same people adding/editing, so there is no difference in quality. |

at 2:52 PM, Wednesday February 28, 2007 EST i dont rely on either wiki or wikipedia. before of its user contributign content nature, there are always errors and mistakes. i dont care enough about them to vote or not vote.
when it comes to thing concering this kdice game, ryan's opinion is the only opinion i care. do the owner of wiki make $$$$$ based of # of hits to their site? sorry if this is wrong, i just dont know enough about wiki and that's why i am asking. dont bury me. |

at 3:00 PM, Wednesday February 28, 2007 EST While Wikipedia is supposed to be neutral and encylcopedic, there is no reason any other wiki, including the kdice one, should be.

---------------------------------- + 0,00 $ - a lot of work. I dont make a bloody cent of it, wikispaces is a free content provider. Yes it gots some ads upon it, but thats from wikispaces. I would have to pay 5,- a month to keep it add free. Until now I was not really motivated to rise my fix monthly debiting, its high enough already for a student. :-) |
