Crazy stuff... the PHOENIX-contest!

Hey all!
You all know the old mythology of phoenix, I think... So. Sawing kaos - knew by his games with more then 2000 points - at an unlimited table with less then 1400 points brought me up to this idea: How cool should it be to rise up like phoenix out of his ashes after a crash-down like this? So I started a new avatar and crashed him down under 1000 points. I´m actually with 994 points the 3rd-worst player... In the next days I will try to get a one-day-gain of perhaps 700 or 800 points... Who will bet with me? Who will be better? but something other: I´m really nerved by the games-style on the lower tables... it´s a djungel! ryan said that this game is also about psychology... it´s a skill to manipulate other players to move like you want. But these players know only the kamikaze-style! There´s nothing to mainpulate. On the upper tables they would be the first who should left the game with 7th rating... On the lower tables they made this all and this one with most luck will win... one game him, next game another player. Like this it´s really a thing of simplicity luck... and they wont come uo ever... But I´m really nerved by my bad luck and taken out by this ugly players in the first rounds... I don´t know where´s the problem in the moment, but I´m losing one game after the other, where I won them before... crazy! |

I would suggest having that 1000 in less games possible. For future contests i would advise to start with approx 1500 pts and have a fall on lower than 1100 pts. and then try to get 1000 on that score again. So target would be 2100. So you would have to weigh how far you want to fall. Having the amount of games to fall and to rise up again is a good indicator who is skilled in phoenix or put lots of time in it. I would also time this for about two or three weeks. If No. of players rises there will be a need of a separate site because this forum is not made for such things. I wish luck to all contestants! at 11:28 PM, Tuesday January 30, 2007 EST Well I got down to about 986 I think and I was going to keep going but Mozzer figured out what I was doing and decided to start my ascent for me by keeping me protected the whole time and giving me second. I am currently +498 for the day. I am up to 1560 right now, as I started my rise yesterday.
