Hey all!

You all know the old mythology of phoenix, I think...

So. Sawing kaos - knew by his games with more then 2000 points - at an unlimited table with less then 1400 points brought me up to this idea:

How cool should it be to rise up like phoenix out of his ashes after a crash-down like this?

So I started a new avatar and crashed him down under 1000 points. I´m actually with 994 points the 3rd-worst player...

In the next days I will try to get a one-day-gain of perhaps 700 or 800 points...
Who will bet with me? Who will be better?
Join the PHOENIX-contest!

from wikipedia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_%28mythology%29

... At the end of its life-cycle the phoenix builds itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix arises...

27628th, 953 pts., 36 games.

joining the test are - so far I know - Dumpfbaeckchen, AlwaysTrucing, StupidRoman, JDizzle, THE Z3, 54321 and Aus der Asche...

Some of them start the rise-up already.

It´s time to think about who will be the best...

There are different options...:

1. The best total gain of one day
2. The best gain after 10,20 or 30 games
3. The first who reach 1900 points
4. 1800 or 1900 points in the less games then the others...

I guess getting at 1900 in least game is very good.

Condition should be score needs to have fallen under 1000 proven by a post in the forums.

Everybody starts with a different score. So a fixed line (like getting to 1900 in the least games) is not the best goal I think.
Because some people have much more time than others I don´t think that a fixed time-period would be best possibility.
IMO I would like to see who makes the most points in a fixed number of games. I think 20 games would be ideal.

PS: 836 points at the moment

OK, I´m tired of losing. I made a fourth place by mistake, that got me quite some points...
Right now I´m down to 850 points with 112 games played so far.

I will now start to rise up again and post my ranking every 10 games.

That definitively didn´t went well.
With ten games played I´m at 1293, that´s +443.

If people start with different points than there is no way of measuring it.

Times in days or hours is bad also.

most points within 20 games ... well i dont know has still much to do with luck 20 games is not much.

Phoenix is a beautiful thing. So it should be over 1900.

Most players have created an own account for the Phoenix-project, i guess.

Rules should have been given before contest started.

how about: winner is the biggest rise in a day.

At which level they start or stop is the at the players free disposition top optimize their winning condition (max. rise a day).

pts: 1702 after 66 games played

Biggest rise in the day is too late because this is the first day where you get 80 pts for each win.
