I think it's time to create a more extensive rules section. It would be useful to have KDice 'laws' like we do in real life, with minimum and maximum penalties. Just like in real life, this would make 'subjective' rulings by mods seem a little more objective.

Wouldn't it be nice to have concepts such as PGA, Point Funneling, Offensive avatar/language defined clearly for all players to see? Also, having min/max penalties written out would create a framework in which our mods could work together in a more objective fashion. Also, this kind of document would be a good teaching tool for all players to reference.

I know it can be hard to define some of these concepts accurately, but it would be a step in the right direction.

I have read Bone Roller's post on rulings based on 'being nice'. In my opinion, BR's document was a helpful addition to KDice, but I feel the language can be improved. Basing rules/punishments on a word such as 'nice' is poor at best. I think we can improve the language of the rules and the consistency/precision in which they are enforced.

I might add to this soon, as I'm tired at the moment and am sure I am forgetting some ideas.

Please let me know if you think this is a good idea, or how you would improve the rules section.
