I want this guy banned from the game! I do not usually post on the forum, but the player with the Finnish flag has clearly been racist, and that is unacceptable! I am asking the admins to take action.

I would like you to explain what exactly is racist here. It seems like you are simply being a bad loser because I killed you in an important game (high stakes 5k) on the final day of the month. In the future, I would suggest you work on accepting defeat in a more gracious manner to avoid embarrassing yourself. Failing that… roll better!

Well, I have always had problems with the definition of "race" and "racism" around here as it is not following a biological reasoning but does also apply to religious and nationalistic prejudices.

It is not that hard to learn this though - even I managed. It seems to be commonly accepted, so adjust to the society you live in.

The comments by "juko" reveal rather clear nationalistic to borderline fascist tendencies in German language by using slogans from that community. Reading rule 3 "Do not use hate language or avatars" this is not acceptable.

I'd be very much in favor of a clear warning to refrain from these slogans and wordings, regardless of the language used, and a ban in the case of repeated activities. As you know, I am never in favor of harsh punishments on first occasion.

By claiming nationalistic tendencies are somehow bad, does this mean we should ban any "America First" Trump supporter? You are letting your own political beliefs cloud your judgement Louis.

Furthermore, but correct me if I'm wrong, the largest party in Germany is running on a platform of "remigration" now. Again, you are projecting your own position, implying anyone should be banned for expressing the opposite view - this in itself is fascism.

Also, coloco (who played in this game) said this about his country:

Remigration is as fascist as what America is doing with immigrants currently. I have not witnessed people advertising either here - and then you came around. Cheering "Ausländer raus" is not much different from hatespeech based on religion, color or sexual orientation. Even the use of clearly war-related symbols has not been accepted here.

This site is unfriendly and straight forward at times, but up to my knowledge has not tolerate some things and has overcome several approaches. Either people have learned or at least adapted, or they are gone. Make your choice.

I said in this threat, that a warning should be issued and if that is ignored, a ban would be reasonable.

After some discussion and learning from my side - I said that learning and adapting is needed in this threat as well - I came to the same conclusion for all forms of hate speech in the other threat. I clearly gave reasons why behavior might occur that is not accepted by many others in a multi-national environment. Here's a quote of my last comment in the other threat:

I stop the discussion with you here and now. It is not leading anywhere but giving you a platform. The simple conclusion is that like anybody joining a community, you either adapt to the rules that community has somehow agreed on or you leave again, if the rules are not acceptable for you.

You have the right to feel misunderstood and so on now. Please do the complaining to your mirror.

I don't know how many accounts you have and abuse, but I am rather certain there is more than one. This account pops up now and then and always gets bad reviews. My expectation would be that it vanishes again soon for a while to spread anger again in a year or two. Unfortunately we do not have enough mods to follow this scheme as you are more careful than others have been. Else I am sure there would be silence soon - unless you used your other accounts after this was gone.
