Why build all these features but not ask the community what they want?

Ryan builds a million new features for Kdice this year but he doesn't ask the players or community what they want or connect with the community. As a sometimes paying member this is what I would like.
1. More players ****THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT KDICE HAS BEEN A DEAD GAME FOR 5+ YEARS AND ITS A HUGE SHAME. Maybe it's time to invest in some advertising? 2. Perma bans on players that go to extremes eg. non stop racism, following women around on the site and only talking about rape. (these are not made up examples, the rape guy was temporarily banned but not permanently, wtf) 3. Ryan listening to the community. New features look good but frankly doesn't do anything for me. |

1. More players. I agree. I've tried ads and social media but there's not much traction. I think I really need the mobile app back to make this work I think. Most of all I think we need MORE MODS. One will not be able to handle this. I might be an idea to have temporarily bans automated (e.g. 2 weeks off and the mod doesn't have to take it back). This would make it more easy to award occasional verbal aberrations directly (why the fuck did I write that.... I am destined to be the victim of this... dang). And a sometimes more cultivated environment would help to keep the few players trying this out. PermaBans are a hoax - you can create a new email address way too easy and re-register any time. |

at 10:35 PM, Monday February 2, 2026 EST @Ryan, I've noticed a bug where it kicks you during a game if you're playing against a bot. It's happened to me 3x this month and don't receive the points for it when I clearly had the win. Not a big issue regarding points, just something to look into
