I'm starting this in honor of player "Russia", who is a truce breaking backstabber.
i asked fro truce, he said sure, so I move away from him leaving my front against him open. He cleaned me out on the next turn, and smarted off about "oh, you meant now?" Let's start a list here. |

"Unreal Player" is another truce breaker. We had a truce and we were against a countertruce. The countertruce got the upper hand and then tried pressuring me to flag. "Unreal Player" flagged and i didnt. He wussed out, broke the truce and attacked me. Dont trust "Unreal Player". He cant handle heat |

I was in the counter truce he speaks of and he was making no real progress against my attacks. At turn 18 our truce got a clear advantage (we were 1 and 2 on the board) and I suggested flags. fast forward 30 turns Joe's down to one territory, his partner had managed to cut mine pretty badly and he would not flag so his partner took one shot at him, which was defended and then I finished him. I'd say this is less of a case of trucebreaking and more of a case of everyone wanting to move onto a new game because that one was in the bag. |

Since you did not disagree with WayneRooney's account of the events, I'll assume that he described things accurately. A lack of grace in defeat could be considered poor sportsmanship, which is what trucebreaking and backstabbing are. The relative severity of poor sportsmanship is what is essentially in question. When you were down to only one territory, you chose to be a poor loser and would not flag. While I do not disagree with you about unreal player's actions being trucebreaking, I do think that your ungracious defeat was no less an unsportsmanlike act than what unreal player did. |
