seriously, no one does jack shit in this game anymore. once you are past round 3, they just fucking hide in the corner and wait for the one or two big guys to kill off the rest. or whats better is, they are so worried about waiting it out, they just sit and watch a totally vulnerable player slowly build a huge empire.
in the last game, i literally took my big stacks and reemed the dominant player nonstop, allowing the guy next to me to build up. i did it just for the hell of it, perhaps hoping he'd win and let me take second (lol gotta hope), but instead he just sat there, didn't do shit with his full 8 stacks when he could have taken the power away from the guy I ran through. then he decided to kill me, while the main guy rebuilt up and then kicked all their asses. to me, that's dumb, he threw away first for effing third. like wtf?! am I just missing something? or are most of these players rather...dumb? i think there should be an incentive not to just sit and hide, it's lame. |

If you have enough extra dice even if you lose every single roll, all your stacks will return to 8. And if you win most of your rolls, all your stacks will return to eight and you won't have a chance of leaving a stack on the edge with four dice or something like that. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, or your rank by the way, and I don't mean to seem patronizing..

Instead of putting some trust in the neighbour and try to make the best out of a lost situation, like you described it, they only try to kill you before they are killed themself!

After every beginning round, it is almost a proven fact someone gets a stack of six or larger, and so, amongst the 5 < stacks, they reign almost supreme, if anyone has the balls enough to attack them and still deal with he repercussions of the big stack.
So, technically, you're right. People get afraid of the steroid stack and run away. I don't know what causes this per say, since I don't believe I'm just remembering, and I see it too often to be sooo random. I think if this was investigated a little more, we could have something here. |
