Where did the Kdice board go?

Does anyone know what to do when you can only see the words "kdice" and no board in the background. Usually it works if I restart my computer but I didn't know if anyone knew a better fix-it than that. I have tried clearing my cache, cookies, restarting my browser but nothing. Any other suggestions?

Sometimes if i have multiple windows open with kdice and I've logged in and out of my various accounts, it causes me to lag out. Only have one kdice page loaded up. If there is a server lag... I just keep pushing reload (repeatedly). Until the page reloads. Sometimes in a really bad lag, I might be doing it for a few minutes. But it ensures that you get in as soon as the server's hiccup is over.

at 11:22 AM, Thursday March 22, 2007 EDT Yeah I only have it up once....well one forum window and one kdice window. But it does this to me a lot. I'll come to play kdice and then the board is gone. I will sit there for like 10-15 minutes constantly hitting refresh (because I want to feed my kdice addiction) and nothing happens. Sometimes the only way for me to actually get the board back is to restart my computer, which takes forever. That is why I was hoping for someone to have a different answer but I guess that is looking like my only hope right now. Lol. Thanks for all your help though!

There is a bug with the flash portion of kdice. The map doesn't load if the page is hidden while loading. I can reproduce this by loading kdice.com then switching to a different tab, when I switch back the map didn't show up. The workaround is to load kdice.com and wait for the map to show up before switching tabs. Switching tabs is probably common behavior while waiting for something to load so I can see this happening a lot. |

That's very possible cuz I do that a lot, check my email or myspace while waiting for a table.......very true. Right now even if I go to a table, let it load without switching tabs it still doesn't show up but usually once I restart my computer its fine. I will try that from now on and see if it works.
