at 1:29 PM, Thursday March 15, 2007 EDT Right now, your Elo is at 1554, which makes you 2783rd in Elo ranking. That means, for every game you play, you get 1/2783 to your 0.02 score, which makes it 0.020359...
That number goes into the "global" ranking, in which you are on place 1646. Now, if you play a lot and get a better Elo, eventually you might have an elo of...lets say 1920 which at the moment would make you somewhat around 50th in elo ranking. Then you would get 1/50 for every game you play and your 0.02 score would encrease fast...or at least faster. Thus you would slowly move up in the "global" ranking. Since the 0.02 score decides on which position in that ranking you are. I know, my english isn't as good as it was anymore. I still hope, you kinda understood what I wrote. |

at 1:31 PM, Thursday March 15, 2007 EDT Hello Chris! =D
Your elo is 1554: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating If you beat high elo players it goes up faster, lose to low people and you plummet. Your score is 0.02, if you win a game with 10th best elo you'll get 1/10th points = 0.1, your new total score would become 0.12 Any specific questions? |
