situation: @ the tet3 table 12:15 a.m. march 15
tashas & dekada have 15 and 16 territories and are the only two players left. they keep on attacking each other but none can take out the other. this go on for more than 15 minutes (by the time i got bored and left) what are they doing? is it a way to cheat for dominance score? tashas is pre-allied with wonks. would dekada = wonks using different account (assuming such tactic can improve your dominance score?) or they may simply be fighting for #1? |

at 4:20 AM, Thursday March 15, 2007 EDT The only way that would alter anything is if one of them had a significantly lower average than the other before they hit their stalemate. That would simply drag the averages closer together, but if it were a true stalemate, the person who had the highest average initially would still be in the better place when they flag, thus making no difference at all to the score.

at 8:31 AM, Thursday March 15, 2007 EDT When two players left, the lowest AS can only earn a couple more points, and only by becoming the highest AS. Doesn't matter if both have AS 15 or 5, just who has 1st, 2nd, 3rd... at time of an elimination.
((Obviously not including the bonus for finishing first, and I don't know the specifics at all)). Anyway, in Dice Wars I've played games where it took me over ten minutes to break through. Had to win some 7v8s just to get upper hand. They sound pretty strange though. |
