The Plough defended 7v5: 14 to 22 (1,2,1,2,1,4,3 to 4,5,4,3,6)
then i attack a bunch with my other territories and get 8 dice on a territory... not much i can do cause this other guy has 7 on a territory but if i take that i can pretty much win... danceable defended 8v7: 18 to 32 (4,1,2,4,3,2,1,1 to 1,4,6,6,6,6,3) i get 3 1's he gets 4 6's, and fuzzycat if you plan on saying that i only remember the bad rolls, dont even post, both these rolls could have won me the game but this always happens to me...and i cant even remember how mand 3v2 and 2v1's i lost after that... |

at 6:02 AM, Sunday March 11, 2007 EDT Some might describe that situation as "gay" or "homosexual" but you should know that there is 723.66888% chance of that happening in every game you play in let alone one singular game in your life.

at 8:33 AM, Sunday March 11, 2007 EDT The problem is probably your username - that's the exact sequence of code needed to modify the random function code to decrease the result by about 9%. You're lucky you didn't name yourself (99-_-)99.

There are enough people that will take you seriously that we may start seeing players named something similar to: (99+_+)99 |

at 8:59 AM, Sunday March 11, 2007 EDT I know, I'm being snarky this morning :) I too felt like kdice gods were against me, it seemed after the reset I couldn't win a thing, but then I can't count how many times I cheered when someone lost a 6 to my 4. If the random function is broken, it's broken for _everyone_ equally.

at 11:39 AM, Sunday March 11, 2007 EDT I was hoping someone would make a program that they feed game logs and it would compare the roll %s to the wiki probablility table. After about 30 games it wouldn't be accurate but it'd be reasonable way to compare to the table.

at 3:01 PM, Sunday March 11, 2007 EDT After the new ranking system came in, last was my most common position. I kept finding myself unable to play even at the 1500 tables. I lost rolls that I shouldn't have lost, and generally got so pissed off I was ready to walk away from the game as my bad luck was pissing me off that much.
I decided screw it though, I enjoyed the game enough to donate, I should just stop taking it so seriously. It's amazing how my "luck" changed so radically since I decided to stop getting upset when I lose games or dice rolls. I'm currently sitting at my highest ELO ever, and have broken in to the top 100 players. |
